The back story....
Dreamlike Memories of childhood holidays in Ireland, when we lived in London.
Freedom - to roam the wide-open fields, watch the farm animals, and sometimes get chased by a "dangerous" goat 🐐 
Tastes - homemade scones and jam,  fresh berries and broadbeans picked in the garden, the clear water from a stream.
Feeling - the warm sun, nettle stings,stroking the old horses mane.wellies abrasing the back of legs ,warm rain, wind and the palpable electricity of a thunderstorm
The bumps of the tractor ride into town while eating toffee bars as we laughed and sometimes quarrelled with our siblings. 
Most poignant of all ,and those that stayed with me and brought back those sun filled days were the smells
Playing in the Hayfield with our Irish Cousins, cowdung and outside toilets, grannies perfume, but most of all the roses and wildflowers beautiful sweet scents...
Those simple times, free of worries are forever and  etched in my heart. ❤️
